Important ! You must be am able to swim 25 meters without a buoyancy aid and that I have no medical condition that would not allow me to go sea kayaking.
Excursions and outings

Half day excursions: 40 € / pers • Adults and children from 16 years (child rate: 32 €)
The time slots at the Youth Hostel, our sea kayak base:
  • In the morning from 8:00 to 11:30 (3 hours of sea kayaking)
  • In the afternoon from 12:30 to 16:30 (3 hours of kayaking)
  • The evening during the sunset from 17h00 to 21h00 (depending on the ephemerides)

Day trips: 70 € / pers
From the youth hostel we can bring you with our minibuses and kayak trailers to accompany you to the best spot of the day, depending on the weather. You can park your vehicle at the Hostel for free, sometimes help us for carpooling or come by public transport

Parents with children from 12 years
When your family is made up of children under the age of 16, we are unable to add you to a group with other adults. Therefore, we have created and organize « family outings ». That is to say that we associate with your family with another families that also has children under the age of 16 years. For this reason, it is important to register well in advance to give us time to find another family available on the same day.

A pair of shoes that will protect your feet in and out the water, preferably with closed toes (hiking sandals, sneakers, river shoes, etc.)

Privatized tours : You can ask to privatize an outing among family and friends for a special event.
In this case we apply a flat rate, whatever the number of people, up to 12 people maximum:
  • 1/2 day: 350 €
  • Full day: 650 €
    You have at your disposal 1 guide, 1 minibus and a trailer with your kayaks on top to go where you want (according to the weather conditions).

Workshops of several days

If you have time, it is always better to begin with a serval day workshop, than half a day … This course allows a better understanding and smooth approach of sea kayaking.
To learn sea kayaking we have beginners courses of 2, 3 or 5 days. The 5-day course is really the most complete and allows you to become an Intermediate kayaker.
During these courses, you will visit different itineraries every day and you will learn the techniques of sea kayaking.
We also have Intermediate and Advanced courses that meet our homogeneous group requirements. So if you are a kayaker, do not hesitate to ask us for our programs.

Sea kayak trips are only for people who already have a minimum Intermediate level or Advanced level.
We organize trips in Corsica, Sardinia, Porquerolles, Croatia or Greece. If you are a kayaker, please contact us.
Please be aware:
– the minibus can hold up to a maximum of 8 participants + the guide. Therefore, you must think of having a car or calling a taxi (at your expense) for extra participants.
– the schedules may have a certain flexibility but can not overlap on another time slot (for example, in the case of half-days)

Destinations

It is a set of wild islands that are protected, without inhabitants and tourist shuttles. It is one of the most beautiful itineraries of the region, where the sea kayak finds its full meaning. The course loops around all these islands and the atmosphere is very varied. We go along beautiful cliffs and island hop with « full-sea » atmospheres.
It is an important nesting site for seabirds and terrestrial birds, some of which are protected. We picnic on Riou, the biggest and most offshore island, on its one and only sandy beach.

Very well known but very busy area; they created the prestige of the Calanques and are on all the postcards. The route runs along beautiful cliffs and crosses the most known creeks: Port Miou, Port Pin and En-Vau. Most of the time, we paddle past these creeks and sometimes up to Sugitton. We return in the late afternoon to our departure point in Port Miou (Cassis).

Located north of Marseille, the blue coast is not known at all but offers a splendid coastal landscape identical to the Calanques. It is the same type of geology, with a limestone seafront dotted with creeks and small fishing ports, which are still completely authentic. This course benefits from the calm, even during the summer season and is an excellent shelter of the « mistral », the strong wind blowing very strong sometimes in our region.

Special cruises

You will dock in Marseille, welcome!

We are working with some ship owners already. And it is possible that the sea kayak trips sold on board are operated by us (boats: Freedom of the Sea, Harmony, Independence, Jewel). These are customized outings that take into account your schedules of landing and boarding which do not necessarily correspond to our initial slots.
It is difficult for us to accommodate you in one of our regular time slots because of the distance between your dock and our kayak office. To reach us from your dock, you must cross the whole town of Marseille, which is beautiful but it takes 50minutes by taxi. Due to the distance and lack of time, we are also unable to pick you up and drive you back.
Despite this fact, we understand that you also have a desire to coming kayaking and discover our beautiful sea landscape! Therefore, we propose 3 different possibilities:

According to your arrivals and departures, and taking into account your transfer time between the landing dock, our kayak base and your return, the afternoon time slot from 12:30 to 16:30 has been designed for you.
Price kayak half day: 40 €
Price kayak Day: 70 €
We can arrange a round trip taxi ride for about 80.00€ per car (up to 4 people max).

Make up your group of friends between 2 and 8 people. Children must be a minimum of 12 years old and will be placed with a parent in a double kayak. Then by taxi (at your own charge), you can join us at our kayak base. The schedules will be accommodated for you, according to your departures and arrivals. We will go on site by minibus.
Package group kayak: Price 650 € (2 to 8 people)
Exceptions:
=> If you want to go on the blue coast, north of Marseille, we can take you on the way it is on our road, at no extra cost.
=> If you want to glade in the National Park and ask us to pick you up and drop you back off with our minibus, it will be at an extra cost of 200.00€

We open a specific time slot for you, well in advance (as soon as you know your cruise itinerary) and on the date of your choice (your stopover date). Then we wait until there are more people signing up (guests on the cruise for example). As soon as there are 6 participants, we will confirm your trip.
Price per person: 95 € destination Côte Bleue.
